When a user creates an account for the first time in the Watch app for parents, in the first steps they offer various ways to create an account:
- Register manually with email and password
- Enter the session through Facebook.
- Enter the session through Apple ID (only for iOS users).
You should always remember the way that you created the account and linked the watch, so if you log out or change cell phones, you should use the same account and you will find the previously linked watch, if you create another account and add the watch’s ID or IMEI again, you’ll get the “waiting authorization” message. So when creating different accounts, the system will think they are different people.
We will explain it with the following example:
Imagine that you have created an Instagram account and you post a photo, si you change your cellphone or for some reason log out, when logging back in, you will find that the same photo is published, so in the same way with the SoyMomo app for parents, if you already linked a watch to your account each time you open the correct account, you will find your linked watch.
The most common mistakes of users are:
- They create the account the first time with their email, linking the watch and then open an account with Facebook, and try to link again, or vice versa, open first through Facebook then email.
- They create an account manually and incorrectly write their email address, then when they go back to login a second time, the app informs them that the account doesn’t exist and the email was registered incorrectly, they then try to link the watch with a new account.
If you are following these instructions and you still cannot access your SoyMomo watch, write to our email at contact@soymomo.com to help you.
